For the most part, I’m just a politics addict and am in the process of trying to integrate myself into this small, small world – because really, politics is like your run of the mill junior high school on steroids when it comes to who knows who and degrees of separation, everyone knows everyone else. So far, It’s been a bit of a start/stop, hurry up and wait sort of journey that’s a ton of fun.
Other than that, my main goal in life is to step on all seven continents by the time I’m 30. Yes, I’m fully aware that life doesn’t end when you’re 30, but when you set such a goal at the tender age of 15 and you’re embarking on your first real trip abroad – to AUSTRALIA! – 30 is a long time off. Dude, like your entire life away! Anyway, I’ve managed four of seven and I’m 26 now. It’s looking less and less likely, but I WILL PREVAIL. Maybe by 40. I’ll still hold out ’til I’m 29 and 363 days old, because I can always spend 48 hours jumping on planes and jet setting to South America, Asia and Antarctica. Well, I hope. It might take more than 48 just to get to Antarctica. Nevertheless, don’t count me out yet.
